What do you hate about yourself?
Depression is bizarre in how in alters the way we think. We may know logically that it is our depression making us think this way but knowing that doesn't invalidate it. So write down what exactly you hate about yourself, let it all out. Once you do look back at what you wrote. Hopefully documenting your thought process will make it easier to work through your issues. Plus we will all be here to help.
I hate my personality. I hate that I'm so weak, without any discipline, anything that drives me. I hate that I never was able to do anything with this life. I hate my body, I hate my freakish sexuality, and I hate my gender so much.
I can relate "( @kayku
@kayku you are not alone 😔
@kayku
Right there with you through every word 😳
My looks, my weight, my social awkwardness, my procrastination, my disorganization, my moments of laziness or selfishness, and every time I hurt someone, fail them, or let them donw.
I used to punch mirrors because I didnt like what I saw. Hated myself.i got over that but now. I hate I get so frustrated. I hate I m emotional to the point it shuts me down. I hate that Im starting to have physical limitations. I hate my Heart, it lied to me. I hate my pragmatic side, it stole my zest for life. The social anxiety but its weird because I can do public speaking well, talk to people I dont know, but when it comes to socializing, I forgot how.
1. I can't force myself to do things I don't like.
2. I hate how I look.
3. I hate how I get annoyed by the smallest things and tend to lash out sometimes.
4. I hate that I am now where I am at due to impulse, bad decisions and depression.
5. I hate that I can't deal with how brutal and unfair the world is.
6. I hate how I am affected negatively by bad people.

1. I can't force myself to do things I don't like.
Me too. I've gone through enough to not have any tolerance left for doing something unpleasant 'for my own good'.
2. I hate how I look.
Some of us spend a lot of time in life unhappy with our appearance, and it's okay. I do not blame you.
3. I hate how I get annoyed by the smallest things and tend to lash out sometimes.
Our depression has an irritable side to it; we've run out patience with everything.
4. I hate that I am now where I am at due to impulse, bad decisions and depression.
Our yesterdays have ruined our tomorrows, and the choices we made then have been so devastating.
5. I hate that I can't deal with how brutal and unfair the world is.
I hate the world too, and I don't think many people deal with it, they just ignore it because they can't deal with it. You are not weak.
6. I hate how I am affected negatively by bad people.
My life was ruined by bad people, and the only thing I can do now is try to avoid them at all costs. People like that really bring everyone down.
My anger. It seems to effect my memory when I'm angry.
@Rosypink93
My anger is uncontrollable as well
@Rosypink93
I completely understand
Everything. I'm garbage.
@tluper6491
Me too, friend
@tluper6491
I understand
The fact that I can't feel anything anymore and I don't know how to explain it to someone.
@greenSea8391
I've hit points where I have just felt numb, no longer sad or anxious. I understand how concerning the apathy can be. It feels as if you've given up, you don't feel horribly down, you don't want to do anything either, but no one quite understands.
This comic might be a good illustration:

@EastAfrique
I feel like this all the time.
@greenSea8391
I feel like this all the time.
nothing
My awkwardness. My mind overthinking a situation, jumping to conclusions and making a situation worse than it needs to be. I feel so trapped by my inability to actually talk and connect with people because Im so awkward. I feel as if Im such a social outcast and I hate it so much. I hate making other people feel so uncomfortable because Im so awkward but Im always terrified that Im going to make a fool of myself- say something that might offended someone or just be myself because I just hate myself so much. I just feel like its making me lonelier by the day and I dont know how to stop it because its a constant cycle. Its even worse because I feel as if its always been this way- so I always find it difficult to even consider that Ill ever change because its just me. But I dont want to be this person. I dont want to be awkward I dont want to say stupid things that make people uncomfortable. Im tired of reading into things too much because Im so self conscious and paranoid.
@moondxst1
I cannot imagine living with that on a daily basis. Are there people you feel somewhat okay around?
That I can't go anywhere or do anything without getting horrible panic attacks
