so this week's activity is (i had no clue lmao). what if. so comment you what ifs below and i(and hopefully others too) will respond.
I'll begin. for me, the scenario i'm giving is:.
What if the counts of all social media followers, views, likes, shares, etc were hidden? What do you think would happen?

I think it'd be better rhat way because then no one is hurt ir bullied by mean comments and no one is hurt by how little or many followers one has and no one is hurt by how viral or not a post gets

I think people would watch upload for the content and not for how many likes or comments or views or shares they would take. I think it would have more value.

I think I would definitely choose time control. Pausing, rewinding, or fast forwarding time whenever I need. Time is my greatest enemy in life, so being able to control it would give me so much power. ✨

A person would have no clue what others think abt them and they wouldn't know who actually supports them or smth?and people wouldn't be able to judge others based on views,likes, followers and stuff😭

@SkilledChatter, Interesting, the count is hidden not stopped. So they will earn accordingly to their views and subscribers. Content stealing will get more easy, people's engagement can become respectful geniune or simply less engaged.
"we judge what we see, We can't relate what we can't see"
In accordance to this thought, we wouldn't know credible creator... making the channel growth much harder and I believe some creators may also try to feature to show their credibility to the audience... In over all to me,
Major changes would be:
- Slow Channel growth
- Increase in Content stealing and copying
- creative maneuvers to gain major audience
- Lesser attention span
- Reduces Credibility of internet in modern times.
benefits are very low, and I'd consider this will only cause problems,
But it won't create major problems that would eat up the internet. Small content creator will not have easy time growing their channel.

My what if is, Earth's atmosphere gets unbearable , and we would have to shift to our new planet Mars. what do u think how they would select what people should stay and what people will be sent to new planet?
@itsYellowLelouchHere they wouldn't select anything, rich ppl would have the advantage and there would be a huge conflict
@SkilledChatter.... The conflict is natural. But selection is necessary because rockets costs aton and shifting every person is not possible.
Good thoughts on considering rich's advantage and the high possibility of conflict.

Such a creative question Skil, here's what I think would happen:
If that ever happened, it'll change things for good and the best part would be people starting to realize they don't need others to like and comment their posts etc, they will start living without the others validating their content...
People would have to learn how to decide whether something is valuable without being told that others value it.
And there's something else I find interesting, removing the numbers wouldn't remove the desire for validation. It would just remove the measuring tape... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
