Help me
I've been experiencing a loss of motivation, constant fatigue, sore muscles, and sleep disturbances. I struggle to fall asleep early, which makes it difficult to wake up feeling refreshed. My head often feels numb, and I'm dealing with anhedonia – a loss of pleasure in almost everything. These days, my life revolves around getting sleep, watching Netflix, and playing snooker. It's as if my brain has lost its balance, and when I close my eyes, it feels like I'm in another world. I'm constantly plagued by anxiety and sometimes overwhelmed by sadness, leading to loneliness and even suicidal thoughts. I also experience shortness of breath, low testosterone, low vitamin D levels, and digestive issues like IBS, acidity, and stomach disturbances. Negative thoughts and hopelessness haunt me, and my mind never seems to quiet down.
What I crave most right now is to regain my motivation and physical energy so I can hit the gym and play football again. My second priority is to address my stomach and intestinal problems. Thirdly, I want to rediscover my sense of humor and mental agility, as I've lost my previous sharpness. Lastly, I aim to resolve the sexual side effects I've been facing.
I used to be a person who could rise from the ashes, turning pain into strength. I meticulously planned my days, always in control, and was full of energy. My intelligence and stamina were at their peak, allowing me to excel in sports and stay active for hours. I could effortlessly manage multiple activities, from academics to socializing and personal growth. Now, I wake up fatigued and with a heavy head. My daily routine includes smoking and lying in bed for hours, as I lack motivation and appetite. Eventually, I have a simple breakfast and take medication, followed by more hours in bed. Only when I go out to play snooker with friends do I experience a semblance of normalcy in my day. The rest of the time, I'm simply suffering.
@Haris01 awww sweetie😞 gives you a giant tiny hug ❤squeezes you tightly. The brain is a strange thing, one day full of life, then it just hits you! But on the bright side you do manage to go out with friends and snooker sounds cool 😎 do you know any trick shots?? Through the struggles of mental health and all the problems that come with it, it's really hard, but we gotta learn to live beside our health, don't let it best you down. Do one thing that scares you a day, to push yourself. Remember any small accomplishment is a big victory ❤ good luck hugs you again ❤
I agree with @Tinywhisper11 It's great that you're still socializing with friends. At least you haven't become a hermit, like the Once-ler who tells the story of The Lorax. I'm sorry that you're experiencing these problems. I was fatigued for what seemed like forever too, until I got on a stimulant for weight loss. Now I have great energy throughout the day and get stuff done. As we age, things aren't quite as shiny and fabulous as they used to be, but that doesn't mean that you're not still fabulous, OP. I'm 44 and I'm still the bee's knees 🐝🦵
@SweetPea321 bees knees haha😂😂😂😂😂 what a off thing to say😂😂😂😂😂 but good for you, I'm glad your full of energy now ❤❤
@Tinywhisper11 odd* thing to say😁 I can spell
@Haris01 it seems like a lot I m sorry you had to go through all that but know you are not alone we will go through this together
@Haris01
If you can, try and channel energy into taking care of simple physical needs. Simple as possible, but make a short list of them and don't skip them any day. Like brushing your teeth, eating one meal, and getting some exercise and water. This can be hard but if you work up to it, your physical health will be stable and you can focus on finding ways to feel better mentally however long you need for that process- and our brains are unhappy if our physical needs aren't met anyway, so improving on that will help mentally- it won't fix it but it's incredibly important to remember your body still needs a bit of your time. Your mind is your priority but don't forget about your body. It's easy to get caught completely in your head but again simple and short is key, giving up on taking care of your simple needs will just make you feel worse and I promise you are capable, you are stronger than you think.
Lastly- tic-tacs are good brain antidepressants. I take one anytime I'm feeling unhappy and it gives me a little boost :)
I'm rooting for you :)
@Haris01
I just realized you might also want to make sure your meds aren't affecting you badly, and that you might want to go in for a physical because some of that sounds not like depression and more like a slightly more physical sickness that may need attention? Idk whatever helps, you're worth anything you need
Losing motivation and getting burnt out is normal! Remember to take a break once in a while, I find that it really helps motivate me when I come back. I hope that you can regain your motivation soon :).
