I need help
I'm 15 dealing with depression and I just feel empty and sad. I have episodes of depression that can last for as long as a year. When I have these episodes I start feeling like I have to cry randomly for no reason at all, or I'll get super mad and irritated. It happens anywhere, in school, at home, etc. I really want to know how to deal with this and understand how I can help myself.

Don't stop expressing yourself. Journal your thoughts somewhere so they're not boiling within. This is a good and safe space to talk about it, but just getting thoughts out is a good step in my experience.
Hold onto hope. You have a future you cannot know. But know you are not alone. Many will walk with you, and many will have far more practical advice than I can offer (please, everyone, speak your wisdom!)
I once thought my depression would never go away. But by learning about myself, about others, I found a way. I still have my bad days, but they're not so bad any more.
That you are reaching out *now* is massive. Thank you for sharing. Keep it up friend!
Hey sweetheart!! First of all, it is a huge deal that you are asking for help! It takes great courage and I know everyone is very proud of you. Next, if you need someone to talk to at any time of the day, please know that my chats are always open. You are not alone in this!
You're the most strong person ever. You can do anything.just keep going

hi lovely! i wish i can tell you ways that have helped me and share them with you but im at the same boat as u are and i still dont know how to deal with it either. if you need someone to listen to your dark thoughts my chats are open for you (i think?idk if there are messages on here im new) and i will gladly listen and help you through it and i mean that with my whole heart. remember you aren’t alone and people are around you even if its a stranger from the internet. i WILL however tell you a piece of advice a great friend of mine told me about when it gets too hard.
write 5 things that you loved/appreciated in your day. it can be anything. the weather, your hair or even food. just anything. bad days can usually overpower the good you have in a day. even something as simple as a nice drink. another thing is to do something that you like only for yourself. i’m not sure how this will help either but he told me to do that too. just remember to breathe through your bad days. sending you lots of hugs💞
