I received a scholarship
@Bestvase7265
Hi, Vase,
I wanted you to know that the U of A gave me a scholarship. It isn't full ride but it will definitely help. And you helped edit my application so you were an integral part of my receiving that scholarship.
Thank you.

How did you apply am looking for one also
@SpiritualGuider
Talk to your college’s admission department for their scholarship & Pell Grant/FAFSA information. They can usually at least direct you there, or to whoever would know.
Ok
@SpiritualGuider
There are lots of different categories. You can apply based on financial need, special circumstances, mental disability, age, ancestry, and lots more. Do a search for scholarships for people with PTSD, or being Jewish, or over 50 years old, etc., and you'll be flooded with suggestions. I
Beautiful! Congratulations!
How are the moving plans coming?@purpleTree4652

Hi, Vase! The packing continues. It's so stressful. I hate moving. I am praying that after I get out of school (if I make it through school) wherever I move for my job will be the last time in my life that I move. This will be my 15th move in the past 20 years. I'm really sick of it. I hate moving.
How is your husband feeling? How are you? :)
That is a quite a bit of moving. I hope that this one feels smoother somehow. It will be nice to begin to get settled.
We are doing okay overall. My husband is adapting to the loss of his mom. She was 95. Our weekend went fairly well.@purpleTree4652
@bestVase7265
My condolences to you and your husband.
It is okay. She had been in hospice care for a long time so we were expecting it. She was surrounded by all of her kids when she passed. It doesn't get much better than that.
It has been very busy, but manageable. @purpleTree4652
I will be back tomorrow. Sorry for not responding for the last few days.

Hey Vase,
You've been on my mind. How are you? How are things?
It has been a really emotional weekend so I am pretty exhausted to be honest. But today was a bit smoother.
In addition to my mother-in-law passing away, my youngest son has been in a high school production of Grease that went seriously awry and became a drama behind the scenes. A number of cast members left and they had to redo major parts of the show with 5 rehearsals left. So supporting him was stressful. But the show turned out well. My middle son also had a rough weekend with a rugby championship game that he lost. And my parents were in town and my husband's family too.
So it was just lots of emotions to juggle. But I survived okay and will jump into this new week now.
Hope that all your moving plans are going well. @purpleTree4652

My condolences on your mother-in-law's passing. That by itself it a big deal. Then you had so much more. Wow, how did you manage?
My move is going. I'm still packing and dragging myself through putting my bedroom into boxes. It is really the most stressful part of the packing because it is real. My bed will soon be off the frame and on the floor. My curtains will be in a box. All my clothes and shoes will be packed away. It feels like forever since I've moved although it's only been 2 years.
I feel like I'm doing nothing about working out paying for school. And really I am, although I've put applying for scholarships on hold until I move into my new place. Then I'll look for a job, too.
I guess I feel depressed and worried that I am making the right decision.
I hope you have a good week.
I think often that I manage because there is no other choice. We all make it through what is handed to us. Knowing that alone makes it easier.
You aren't making a mistake with the move. You are pushing boundaries and growing. You can't make mistakes there. You make mistakes when you stand still and are miserable with what you are doing.
You will figure stuff out once you get there. @purpleTree4652
@bestVase7265
Thank you for saying that Vase. Saying, you aren't making a mistake with the move. You are pushing boundaries and growing. You can't make mistakes there. You make mistakes when you stand still and are miserable with what you are doing.
You will figure stuff out once you get there."
That was the perfect thing to say to me. I needed that.
You are welcome. I know that it is nerve wracking, but you can do this. Things will go wrong sometimes, but that doesn't mean that the plan itself is bad.
