I feel like this too. Like one moment you don't feel anything you don't know how to react to the situation given and then the few hours or next day it all comes rushing towards you. The emotions the feelings the hurt. I understand that I get that I guess it's because you don't know how to react at the moment you need time to process what was given to you and then after processing all of it. It eventually hits . So know your not alone in feeling that I also was questioning myself if that's normal but I think it's just how we cope. everyone has a different way they express their emotions differently but I know whenever I do have those moment when it all hits I make sure to let it all out . yes in the end you feel exhausted but it's good to let it all out and have that moment to process

@Kaniii

If i am reading this correctly ... you avoid dealing with things if or when they do bad as time passes you think back and have all sorts of emotions.

Are there emotions or upset about the problem or  wishing you had done things sooner to change the outcome?    it can be very upsetting if we second guess our actions or inaction.

I can relate. I think it’s a part of my coping mechanism, my mind and body needs time to process what’s happening. I’ve been baby-ing myself though, I ask myself how I’m feeling about these problems, then make sure I’m being fully honest. I usually cry it out the next day or so after some self reflection, just to get it out of my system.

However, depression cam make you feel numb to all feelings sometimes (even the negative ones). It helps if you reflect on the issue or talk about it with someone else. Sometimes your mind and body just needs time to process it.

i feel like this is a normal response. people react differently to problems and your mind can shut off after it from shock maybe. it’s good that u cry after to let out the pain behind it. your pain has been there even if u didn’t show it. just because u grew numb doesnt mean it isn’t there. i think growing numb is just another way of pain that no one really talks about. sending you lots of hugs💞
