Lost hope in humanity. Lost faith in God
I am not sure where to say this, the chat groups have been ignoring me despite me always striving to help others on this site in the past which kinda proves what I have to say here, although what I have to say is in a more general context beyond what has happened in 7 cups.
I have given up on humanity. I have helped those who have wronged me. Helped those who haven't. And still I am mistreated. I am tempted to live the rest of my life selfishly. No more charities. I have tried my best to see the good in people but they have shown me that humans are just animals at the end of the day who only care about their own survival. There is no higher sense of morality that people strive for. I tried to do that and it caused me to be in a worse situation financially and mentally. It's best I live my life exclusively for myself and no one else.
I guess what I'm trying to achieve by posting this, other than an outlet to ease my overwhelming hatred and anger for human beings, is for someone to try and convince me otherwise. If God is real then he or she or whatever god is will show me evidence that goodness exists, if he exists. Until then, I shall be selfish. The world can burn as long as I'm okay. I'm the only one that matters to me from now on. Until then, God is dead to me, and so are all his or her creations. They mean nothing to me.

hey man thank you for sharing!
i'm sorry to hear that u feel ignored despite helping others on this platform. group chats can we swarmed with messages and sometimes it can be hard for people like u and me to speak up about our experiences. maybe u could try talking 1-1 with a listener on here if u haven't 😊
i also wanted to touch up on the subject of god. to give u a different perspective of things, god has given everything and everybody in this world free will. that means they can choose cruelty or kindness, and unfortunately some would rather use that freedom to create chaos.
the truth is, goodness does exist but it's often small or quiet compared to all the noise of cruelty. u might not see it in the people around u right now, especially when ur surrounded with disappointment, but that doesn't mean it's gone from the world.
u have been a source of kindness even when u didn't have to be, and to me that is proof that good still exists. so keep that up! ♥️🌸
I have often battled with this sentiment myself. Wondering why, if I had leaned my shoulder to someone- why myself was spared of a shoulder to cry on. It irritated me, was I not as deserving? Yet that was not the proper question to ask. Rather was it- am I not ready? I am here, now, perhaps late in your mind but as ready as can ever be in my own. I just recently joined. But I know better than to ignore such signal. Vent to me, cry to me, rage to me, whatever it is, rid yourself of all that negativity. You lent your shoulder until it was no more, now it is time I lent mine until yours healed.
Thank you all for replying to me. I knew if I had reached out harder then I will be given an opportunity to see some good in humanity. For now, I'll continue to do my best but will probably be more selective to who I spread kindness to. I feel like being kind to those who respond with evil will only harm yourself and perhaps even those around you. Thanks again for your support, it is very much appreciated

ur heading the right direction. it's always good to set some boundaries for urself. once u know when to prioritize ur needs u will feel more at peace with urself and start attracting the good that u deserve in life 🫶♥️
I am sorry to hear about your negative experience in some areas of this site. What you are going through is understandable and normal. Nietzsche very famously declared "God is dead" but he didn't mean it literally. He was referring to some of the feelings you are having. Here's a link to an article you might relate to in parts. "God is dead": What Nietzsche really meant - Big Think . I can relate to you as I have at times felt despair with humanity after giving, giving and giving. It sounds like you could be dealing with a form of burnout from compassion fatigue. There is still a lot of good in the world. The media just doesn't make much money in showing it. You can still see a lot of good on here. I see it predominantly in many of the forums. If you ever want to chat with someone who has been there my door is open.
@diligentShade426 I have experienced not once but many failures, defeat and dispair. Dispite all that has happened, I’ve always believed that God has a better plan for me. Therefore I trust in God and allow Him to guide me. To walk in shadows and through darkness. Eventhough I cant See him. But my faith gave me the strength to make it through every step of the way.
I'm sad to hear you've lost faith in God. That's all that keeps me going. I mean I love my kids and don't want my mom to suffer outliving me, but ultimately sometimes I feel like I'm such a terrible person that I don't want to keep going, but I pray and trust that God does have a plan that includes me or I wouldn't be here. It's just hard. People let us down all over the place. I can't stop wanting to help others, but I don't have much to offer to help. Anyhow, I'm here to listen if you need a sounding board.
