Thank you for using our site. 1-on-1 chats are to connect you with a trained active listener, every chat is different but what you can expect of a listener is to have a peer, listening to you. We will never judge & offer you support so you don't have to go through anything alone. You can pick the listener of your choice from this browse listeners page!

@Alone7777 No, it's not possible. You can join member group chats though!
@Alone7777- a member (to my knowledge) is not able to have a 1:1 chat with another member. However if one of the members has a listener account then it is possible. That said- many of the forums offer support to each other- not 1:1- but can give a voice for members to respond to other members. Good luck and welcome to 7 cups.

You can create a listener account if you're a member, but please only do it if you want to help out others. Don't create an account just to 'talk' to other members/friends, the whole idea of listening is a very valuable and selfless thing to do & we encourage to keep the site for what it's - listening and being listened to 
I definitely do agree that member's supporting each other in rooms and forums is very encouraged, because many times you could have gone through the same as well and can offer very good comments. Thank you for answering & for being here too! Best x.
@Mel- thank you for that reality check- yes listeners sign up for the sole purpose of helping others. However I find it interesting that there has been long-term support member to members through some of the forums. A wonderful but much more open communication option for those of us who check in with other members.
