Improvising on my keyboard. As a musician, music in general helps me relax and stop thinking, but with improvising I can totally let go and just focus on what I doing in that moment, while still expressing my thoughts and feelings in the one way I know how.

I call it a "power cry", similar to a power nap, but crying. I do it in a small, enclosed and private space, and allow myself to feel all the overwhelming emotions. I cry hard for about 10 minutes, and then clean up and make plans to progress forwards. It's so helpful because I'm allowing myself that time, instead of bottling it up, but not wallowing in it. I set a timer, and then afterwards I often feel so much more centered and focused.
