none whatsoever. i might've had a dream in the last year or so in which I felt good until the illusion evaporated and I was back in the barren wasteland of my worthless life. I honestly don't remember the last time I felt anything remotely resembling happiness, certainly no joy. Those are distant, inaccessible concepts to me with zero relevance to my life now and at any moment in the foreseeable future.

All other things being equal, I'd be far better off dead. Death is the only thing I think I can look forward to.

@hollowman84

Happiness is all around. I felt that way for awhile. Work home and Life. Take a break from it, sometimes just being around the people who have supported you can be beneficial. Although you can learn new things from your self and others. It's hard to put a finger on what's going on with others sometimes. Negativity often destroys everything around a person.

@enthusiasticYard6010 there are no people to be around. im extremely lonely and cut off. im broke and in serious financial turmoil right now in addition to the killer loneliness and depression. im about to 34 and im a total f__k-up. friends moved on by getting married and such, well I am not able to do such because im too pathetic and cant even figure out how to make a living in this f___d-up world. i hate life. i'm broken. i'm overwhelmed with sadness and a feeling of irredeemable failure. my only company these days are my dog and classical music. I wish I could just vanish, go out in absolute silence and insignificance, not with a bang but a whimper.

@hollowman84

You have to remember what makes you happy. It's a hard world out there it's a cruel one at times. I don't think that way anymore, if I can learn by my mistakes then I can live with them. For there is another day. Day by day as I say. I'm an addict and thats what I repeat and keep your head up. You're a good person. You have real feelings, that means you're compasonate and you can find that compassion in something else.

Favorite memory, when I went on a trip to Disney World. We had fun, this was my 1st go around. Had a blast at the Nickelodeon studios in Universal. Stayed at this motel that was infested with lizards. Tried catching them and saving one as a pet. My father pulled over in a mall parking lot. He saw something that caught his eye. He slowly walked down the hill and twisted his ankle. It ended up being a stupid rock. I helped him up and that ended our vacation due to him being very agitated with everyone and everything.

One recent moment of joy I experienced is when my 7 lb. White Pomeranian swam in a pool for the first time, He paddled dilligently until reaching the side of the pool. His thick, wet hair weighted down his ability to independently jump out but with a little encouragement and lift, he was out of the pool, shaking the water off and smiling! smiley
