One thing I do when I am feeling sad is....
When I am only a little sad (sad but not enough to cry) I will just tough it out and push it out of my mind as much as possible. When I am moderately sad, I will listen to my sad music and cry and feel like my chest is caving in until I fall asleep and when I wake up, I feel a little better. If I am extremely sad, I will lay curled up on my bed and not move. I don't want anything at that point and I will stay there as long as I can. When I have to get up, I will do what I have to do then return to my spot. I was this way for 3 months once, eating only when I have to and drinking water more than anything. I don't know how to get myself out of those....
