When I was being bullied at school for acting weird 
I realized I was living with depression when:
-I felt that nothing mattered.
-I stopped doing the things I love.
-I had recurrent suicidal thoughts.
-I felt emotionally drained all the time.
I hope a thread like this can help people recognize their own symptoms and encourage them to seek help. There is light at the end of the tunnel - and it is closer than it seems. Please get help, sweethearts. I love you all and you deserve to be happy.
I don't know if this is called depression or something else. But when my grandma died, I started to develop the feeling of worthlessness. I often feel like I'm nothing and I deserve nothing. I feel lonely even though I'm surrounded by people who care about me and I blame myself for every bad thing I feel. I in fact blame myself for everything. And I always want to disappear, like completely. I regret that I had been born. And I always think about suicide, like which one's the fastest, or whereever I'll go after death. But I don't really intend to do it because of my belief. I only need to know if by any chance it's not sinful. I often feel stuck and nothing I can do to get out of there. And I often feel like everyone's against me. Is this depression though?

It was just easier for me to isolate myself that make and effort to talk to people, so I would avoid people at all costs.
I would hide in my room for the entire day, and i could cry at pretty much anything.
When I started to self harm and asked myself why I cry so much. When I started questioning everything and wondered what was the point.
