One thing my depression has taught me is.....
My depression taught me that not everyone gets it
it taught me that it can push people away without you being aware
it taught me that things will never be the same after its gone
My depression has taught me to really appreciate the times I'm not feeling awful. It's taught me to be stronger and that mental illness should receive enough attention as physical illness.
Im just scaring people away because I couldnt control my emotions and thoughts... No one will ever listen and understand the battles in my heart. Besides that, I have hurt many people unintentionally....
When Im not in my full moon state, people just stay away from me and they dont even bother to ask if Im okay. They just think that Im full of myself; they think that I only care about my feelings; they think that I only see the bad side of everything; they think that Im difficult to get along. Eventually, they left me.
Unfortunately, these people are my friends, not true friends though. Those who couldnt tolerate me would just hurt me deeply before they left. While those who are still able to tolerate me are just acting because they would just want to make full good use of me first before they left eventually.
Im just so fucked up. I feel so so alone that I have to face all these myself in real life. No one is there to comfort me when I need that the most. Why am I so pitiful that I have to go online and seek comfort from kind strangers.
That when the depression is dormant for a good stretch, sometimes I miss it, because I live with it so much, it becomes a part of my life.
That i really have patience. and Im stronger than i thought.
I can overcome anything
That no matter how deep in a mud I am I can still find strenght to smile and keep on going. Depression slows and tires me but it doesn't stop me entirely.
My Depression has taught me that, even if your depressed. Their is always support. I met a amazing girl named Ashley, and she saved me from depression.
@bluePear2816
She saved you? I wonder What they talk : How amazing you feeling; I'm wondering what she did While it's you who is the master of boat..Give me the same pill She gave you
@quietSummer6236 There's plenty more pills where that came from? But here goe's, we have a really weird relationship (I do have a little bit of a crush on her). She gave me her phone number, and told me anytime i'm feeling depressed call or come by her work place. So I did, and now we are never apart. She takes me out, and drives me home before 7. (She works from 10-7 and Mon-Sat) Even if its wrong for me to like her cause she's 28 and i'm 16. I still hang out with her. That is until last week, I fell TOO in love with her and stopped going. Do you wanna know why??? because I don't know what's wrong with me. I always fall for older woman, knowing that it'll break my heart. This is not the first time this happened. (I once fell in love with my nieice's daycare teacher) , i'm sorry, I know you wanted me to motivate you. But love is F@#$ing with my life again.
One thing my depression has taught me is I am worth more than I ever dreamed!!!
@blueAcres6174 What a beautiful answer
@Laura
My depression has taught me that people will leave after too long of being around you and your issues, that people will seem better off without you, I've learned that many vices I have only cause my depression to worsen, and I find that depression is a bottomless pit of agony and despair.
Depression showed me I can keep moving even when it's hard to get up in the morning and I can keep moving even when I think I can't anymore. You have to keep moving because there will be days better than the last.
