Coping Up With Missing Someone

Coping Up With Missing Someone

Hello Everyone!!!

So guys, the reason why I am writing on this particular topic is, that a lot of things struck me in last year all of a sudden. I barely did anything except crying for months because I missed a person too much. After five years, my cousin sister met me at a family meet up before going back to her place again. I felt so lonely and isolated because of that and that was one reason I came to 7 cups. Now I feel that when you cant really get over something you have to learn to deal with its impact on your life. So here I am trying to make everything a bit easier for others by creating a guide to help understand this issue and ways to cope up throughout hard times such as the one I experienced. :)

Introduction

Have you ever thought about someone too much?

No matter the circumstances, whether a friend has moved away, a relationship has ended, or a loved one has died, its tough to be away from someone you care about. The feeling of missing them may never completely go away, but you can simply ease the ache.

But how to actually deal with missing someone?????

1. Understanding, expressing and sharing your emotions and feelings rather than bottling up would be really beneficial, because sometimes keeping things within is really frustrating and making it hard to cope up. Letting it out and allowing yourself to grieve. Grieving is different for everyone, so do it in a way that feels right for you by giving yourself allotted amount of time.

There is a thread related to the above about identifying feelings enlightenedClick Here enlightened

.....Remembering the good times rather than the sad ones, and talking about it with someone or writing it out in a journal. Finding someone whom you trust or you have a belief that they might understand and talking to them about it really help

2.Distracting yourself would work. There are various things that might help you to distract yourself taking from the things you like to do to the things that you might want to try doing. Sports, hobbies, music and various stuff

-Study or learn something new

-Get physically active

-Find a hobby

-turn to others for support or find a constructive project to throw yourself into.

-listening to your favourite songs, creating your own playlists

4. Socialize. You cant replace the person, but others can help you heal and move forward. Make an effort to develop new relationships and deepen existing ones. Strive to build relationships with people who are positive and encouraging.

@CallMeNaman2002 I know, I know. I am dismayed by such technical incompetence. And not even an apology, as far as I am aware. Apology doesn't seem to be part of our culture here Frowning

It was one of my favourite forum post, I made with some of my 7 cups friends here. Emojis and other characters made it look really nice . This replacement character ruined it all 🙄🙄

Have a closer look....
