I told my therapist that they’re the only person i have deep conversations with; and that it’s pathetic that i have to pay someone money just to talk to someone because i have nobody else. i cried while admitting that

can someone just tell me that it gets better? that this loneliness and hopelessness won’t go on forever?

Definitely, it won’t go on forever. Life is all about different phases. And this loneliness and hopelessness is also one of it. Deal it with patience as there are days, good and bad. In the bad days have patience and in the good be grateful for them. Sending you lots of love.🌸🌸

I feel exactly the same as you. I didn't feel comfortable trying to talk with anyone about my issues, so a while ago I eventually got so desperate that I started going to a psychotherapist (I wanted to try it even sooner, but I was just keeping postpone it). I did it for more than one year and a half, eventually I stopped doing it. Firstly, because it costs quite a lot in the long term, obviously. But most importantly because I felt that I was not actually improving myself; what I struggle with the most is loneliness (among other numerous issues).
How are you doing lately ?
