How has depression affected your sleep pattern or habit?
Will love to hear from you
I have been sleeping very poorly since I have been depressed. But I did manage to get some Melatonin and it seems to be helping. I still wake up in the middle of the night but then I am able to go back to sleep until the morning.
I dont sleep. I take melatonin, but it doesnt help. When I finally do fall asleep, I sleep until someone wakes me up. I just want a peaceful nights sleep.
I know I know should be sleeping to give my body and mind the rest it needs at night, but I cant help stayin awake sometimes especially if something is bothering me a lot. I have tried to figure out why I do this to myself. The only conclusion I can come up with is that the night gives me solace in all its quietness and peace.
So thats the romanticisation of staying awake from depression 🙄🤣🤦🏻♀️
I have had depression for 2 years. I also hace really bad Insomnia, I know because my insomnia problems started before my depression. I go to bed at 8 but I actually sleep at 3 - 4 am. Then I wake up at 6. This has been happening for a year and I am really tired.... I cant concentrate at all...It's really hard...
Currently being affected by having trouble falling asleep, then waking up feels like I haven't slept at all. Like I didn't go into a deep sleep, like I was awake all night. Good thing with my current career, it makes me feel energized as I really love my job. The moment I get to work, I feel more awake. I think I'm still kind of running on adrenaline since I changed to this career last June. I'm still as excited as my first day of work. This means I should feel mentally and physically tired after work today, so I hope I can sleep tonight. Tuesday will be a long day for me. I have a specialist appointment before work (meaning I need to get to work 15 mins earlier, I work in a hospital), then I'm getting a haircut at 4pm after work. So probably won't be home until 5pm. Which means I might just have dinner before I go home. Might be too tired to cook~

I find it hard to fall asleep and when I do, I find it even harder to wake up and get out of my bed. I'm always tired, too. I would fall asleep at 3-4 AM and then wake up at 2 PM and I'll still feel tired and sleepy. Sometimes I would fall asleep around dinner time and wake up at 10-11 midnight and my cycle would go on and on...
When I slip back into relapse, all I do is sleep during the day. I don
I fall asleep a lot to not easy is it @SailingFox
Are you afraid of the fact that when you buy products on the Internet anyone can see your personal data? As ironic as it may sound, I suffer from an anxiety disorder and these things scare me a lot, and I have to buy drugs online. So privacy is very important to me. The only website I trust is https://www.worldpharm365.com. I hope you don't face this problem, but if you do, I'm glad I could help someone.
I tend to go to sleep earlier and take longer to fall asleep, but since I've had depression I always have dreams once or twice a night.
