a book i loved a lot was "The Boy Who Was Bullied" from Anne Scott ("Au del de l'intimidation" in french)

that is the story of john peters humphrey, The loss of his arm, at the age of six, made him the target of intimidation. once adult, he drafted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights - adopted by the United Nations.
