I used to have many lucky items :0 but over the years they got lost :(
the last โluckyโ object I had was a turtle paperweight ๐ฎ
@emotionalTalker2260, oooh a turtle paperweight sounds cool!
@wonderfulRainbow817
๐ I lost it during a road trip
@emotionalTalker2260 Hopefully you can find something else that brings you luck!
@AffyAvo
XD everything I claimed as lucky has and was unlucky. Maybe Iโll find that lucky something one day
@emotionalTalker2260
Turtle ๐ข paper weight, that's neat! Sounds really cute
@AffyAvo
My family and I are Irish so we spend the day dancing and singing traditional Irish songs. We also eat traditional Irish foods like soda bread and cornbread.
I have a necklace my grandfather brought me back from his trip to Ireland. Ever since then it has brought me luck.
I have finals this week so I am just trying to get through them and then will take a day or two of a self care break.
@wonderfulRainbow817 That sounds like a really fun way to celebrate! And what a wonderful gift your good luck necklace!
I hope your finals go well!
@AffyAvo, thank you! So far they've gone well!
@wonderfulRainbow817
That sounds like a lot of fun!
Hi Affy,
I don't believe in "lucky" objects.
I've been spending a bit of extra time helping a friend whose going through a bad time with medi symptoms/ problems. I was staying at her ho.e the last couple days & nights.
I hope to connect with a other friend I. Need to borrow. She's going through mung at one time.
I haven't done anything for St. Patrick's day, since . .um....,.about....,1983- after I had been up in college in Savannah, GA. I went back right back up there a couple years later with three friends and ride the busiest time of the year for the whole city but we had a great time back then and have some great memories from that.
Affy, what all have you been up to? Do you have some plans for St Patrick's Day or do you celebrate that day? It'd be great to hear from you.
Take care.

I hope you and your friends will continue to be able to support one another! Hopefully some better times coming too.
St. Patrick's day here is very different than in Ireland from what I hear. It's about celebrating the Irish, with some throwbacks to some negative stereotypes too but the Irish Canadians here have fun with that now. Green bar, full pubs type of thing. I used to get into some shenanigans when I was younger with friends.
This year I already celebrated in a much more family-friendly way. I found a fun book about trapping a leprechaun read that with my nephews and they devised there own trap plans and gave some great stories about gold coins. I might wear green on the actual day, no plans beyond that.
I used to have a 5 leaf clover and a 4 leaf, I pressed them and made them into fridge magnets. Lost them during a flood in 2016 with some other damaged/ "drowned" household items. I don't know so much about luck, but I have a devotional I try and read when I think about it and am feeling down. "Threadbare Prayer." Could help others.
I need help finding friends on here to relate to. I do not know how to 'save' friends or if that is even an available feature. I also need help finding a way to make myself useful. I used to work in advocacy and I guess at this point I just want to be involved. Considering returning to school for my LPC. I have been going through hell lately with my condition and some loss and trauma, but helping others seems to help me feel better. I miss advocacy work so much.
For this St. PATRICKS Day Is my mom's birthday.. ! I'm a cake artist. I made her this cake.
I'm luckily person is my mom.. her birthday is on st. Patricks day.
@considerateBunny7436
That's really neat I love that!

Happy St. Patricks Day.! ๐๐๐

Thank you! @considerateBunny7436
@considerateBunny7436
Woah! What an awesome cake really cool ๐
@AffyAvo
Not doing much to celebrate the day probably just chill with fam as usual.
I have a celtic knot necklace I love alot sometimes just holding it and thinking of my friend who gave it to makes me feel a bit better.
Trying to accept some things, to move forward and hopefully help others in the process.
@AffyAvo my mom died in my lap in a horrific car accident right after St. Patrick's day, 18 years ago, I can't remember the last time I ate corned beef. 18 years, still feels like last year.
Please everyone use caution for the holiday, and tell eveyone you love, that you do.
