Sunday November 6 - Disability community check-in thread

I had a good weekend but I think I overdid things a bit. We got dinner going in the slow cooker and now my husband is making me something to eat right now as I got dizzy.

I am taking a guess that if you joined this sub-site you know the feeling that "will this ever end?" Born small and sick and been a uphill battle since the first day. I am old.... in 7cups years I am like 101 (39 in real world) back in the 80's doctors put you on antibiotics for EVERYTHING. Didn't matter, lots of them for long periods of time. So yes, we know now that isn't smart. But it is too late for me. So I have had a sinus infection for 2 weeks. I was on my 12th day of antibiotics and I was only getting worse. Fever started yesterday. So off to urgent care because my next doctor appointment isn't until Wed. So home now with a huge dose of steroids and more............ ANTIBIOTICS!!!! The great part is they had to go to Leviquin 750mg. If you know anything about that one it is sort of like using a nuke to kill a few bugs in your house. But it is all that works for me anymore. Some days all ya can do is curl up on the couch and watch football (the real kind not that boring soccer stuff!)
