Do you have any achievements you accomplished this past month?
I have started wheelchair training this month and I am starting to get more comfortable using it!
What goals or plans do you have for August?
I'll hopefully have some helpful appointments with specialists and an initial session with a new therapist. :)
What would you like support with?
I hope, that also after the pride month, we'll continue to validate each other's experiences. That's very important for all of us!
@audienta I'm glad the wheelchair training is going well, I hope that continues as well as the appointments going well!
And yes, validation and support are awesome!
I have two service dogs, one is retiring due to hip dysplasia, and the other one is basically still in training due to the pandemic. He would have been finished training by now if training had not been canceled because we couldn't all get together.
So my goal for August is to spend more time working with Riley, my Labradoodle. He is 100 pounds and a mobility dog. He has been trained to help me up when I fall and to walk by my side to keep me walking straight. He is pretty good about helping me up, and he does stay by my side. His problem is he gets distracted easily.

I accomplished go to camp first time this month ! I go to day camp for developmental disability program and was whole week I go during whole day come home at dinner time
Just I really want my seizures to stop be so bad I want them to stop again and I want to surf every day need support because I am really sad from all seizures

I'm sorry to hear that your seizures have been bad lately. I really hope that they will get less distressful soon! However, I'm glad to hear that you were able to go to this disability camp! That's an awesome accomplishment!

my neurologist tell my parents have to give me sleep medicine because seizures might be so bad because I don’t sleep and I hate sleeping but they still making me take sleep medicine ☹️ But camp very fun I am proud go there I don’t go away from my family that much never for whole day and I was really really nervous. And next week I get to go to a real farm with same program ! I am excited
Do you have any achievements you accomplished this past month? I helped get my brother's birth certificate that he lost. . . getting his SS card and ID has been hard.
What goals or plans do you have for August? I need figure out with a cancer specialist what to do next for my hysterectomy.
What would you like support with? Send prayers and positive vibes. . . I want a better place to live in. . . I feel like I'm in prison and yet I did nothing wrong.

I was happy disability pride happened here! It's not really recognized in my country, at least not yet so I only found out about it part way through the month.
Personally, my end on some testing is done, I hope to get the results this upcoming month!
