How Is everything going?

Not feeling so great, but doing ok.

What problems do you have with your disability?

Low energy, general malaise, other symptoms come and go. They can become quite serious.

What are some things that your disability, does not allow you to do? and What are some things you do better at because of your disability?

Many things are triggers, so I can't push myself too hard, I have to be really careful with any physical activity, even stuff that may seem minor (chopping veggies for example). Things I'm better at - doing an IV on myself, sometimes sleeping, pacing myself.

Do you find it hard to make and keep friends because of your disability? Yes, because I don't get out much, so meeting people to make friends is hard and then some friendships die off since I don't connect with them much.

How Is everything going?: Everything is fine

What problems do you have with your disability?: My back hurts at times due to scoliosis and I am sometimes slow when I need to recall information.

What are some things that your disability, does not allow you to do? and What are some things you do better at because of your disability?: My disability does not allow me to recall things quickly. However I understand people who do have a disability and I have also learnt that people are terrible and heartless to others.

Do you find it hard to make and keep friends because of your disability?: Not really.

@azuladragon34 So sorry to here that, people have been heartless and unkind towards you.

I feel if people world just take the time, to get to know a person with a disability or with out, this world of ours would be much better, off for it.

@WeedyGarden So sorry your struggling with your disability.

May I ask, what kind of disability do you have? (If do not want to share,in public I understand, if it is hard to talk about I understand that as well).

I have a learning disability so I understand, what it is like to struggle, with your disability.

Sorry you have a hard time with making and keeping friends.

I would be more than happy to be your friend Weedy, if you would like that?

I have that same issue at times,I do not drive, so transportation is an issue for me and for a lot of people with disabilities.

How Is everything going?

Not too bad, thanks for asking. Last night I had a moment where I felt like I didn't want to go back to work- I had overcome my recent struggle with seperation anxiety, and being with everyone has made me not want to leave them again, which will be difficult when we do go back to work :(

What problems do you have with your disability?

Currently because of being stuck indoors and sat for too long, this has caused me to cease up a little, which results in more pain. Though I am taking more pain killers now and I'm practicing different, holistic methods in order to help ease the pain too

What are some things that your disability, does not allow you to do? and What are some things you do better at because of your disability?

Just walking the dog properly and for a lengthy time would be lovely, or doing a food shop and not being in pain. I struggle with yoga and exersize and it's made me rather feerful of trying out new activities that don't involve much sitting/resting.

Some good things are that whilst I am sat down I can do a lot of arts and crafts, which I LOVE!

Do you find it hard to make and keep friends because of your disability?

I do, purely because it makes it hard to keep up with them and go on all the days out that my friends want to. To go shopping I use a stick and can only shop for soo long. I would struggle to go bowling and play pool. I would struggle to have a day in a park or on a beach as I would be sitting unsupported for too long, which would cause pain :( Also, because my pain is invisible it's difficult for people to understand it. I went to pride last year and my friend was awful, we had another pride booked, but I physically couldn't do it. When I cancelled on her, she stopped talking to me for months. I guess people just don't understand that though when I met them I was okay, things have now changed over the years and now I am disabled.

Thank you for giving me a space to offload these thoughts/feelings <3

@Happy900

im happy for you happy that your a part of this team but you don't have to always relate things back to you and pelase don't attack me for saying this. We get you are disabled learning and other issues but sometimes it's ok to be disabled and no one needs to know. I'm disabled but I don't tell anyone for lots of reasons. I'm so happy your on this team. But I have a hard time following this forum and the support room because I see you saying a lot on "I am disabled" so are others happy. ❤️❤️ Stay yourself just be mindful❤️❤️❤️
