Lately my allergies have been just absolutely brutal. Currently doing ok, but I'm on lots of medications to help cope and once they wear off I feel pretty bad. I at least had a really good morning with family today, was able to get all the meds in so the effects kicked in before needing to go anywhere.

Goals are to just keep up with the garden, get some of my meds.

A whole lot of self care gets tied in every day. Resting, medications, etc.

Hi!

I'm doing okay, very tired.

My goals for this week are to finally get out of hospital and go home!
As for self-care, pretty much everything. I have to pull money out of thin air and get myself a power wheelchair as this manual one just isn't cutting it anymore.

@Rynn Getting out of the hospital is always a plus!

Any funding agencies that can help you with the chair? I think that may have come up before?

@AffyAvo There's a few but they seem to be all aimed at children, so I'll need to enquire further.

I'm hoping at the very least I could find some sort of higher purchase one that would let me pay it up. If I can't get any grants or anything.

@CaringBrit Yessss! That would be so beautiful. Also, my door is always closed, so I'm having a real lack of nurses gossip here. My partner works a lot so I'm all lonesome here far too much.

@CaringBrit I am having a great week.

I snatched victory from the jaws of defeat, just as I was about to quit 7cups forever. I love this place.

I just read some wonderful news about gaming with a disabilty. I wanted to share but didn't know where.

This is the new Microsoft Xbox Adaptive Controller
($99 - news article on c|net).
It has 19 ports on the back allowing it to be customized with various inputs like puff tubes and switches.
Previously, disabled gamers had to make their own devices which were expensive and don't always work.
