More about grieving process when someone loses physical health is needed to be written on 7cups
i noticed that there is nothing about grieving process for someone who loses physical health... For example, someone is involved in traffic accident. Becomes wheelchair user due to paraplegia. They start grieving process and comes to 7cups. Almost nothing relates to them as what they go through isn't mental health issue but healthy process of grieving. First step is when they deny that something happened to them, then they become sad, irritable, angry (but it isn't depression), then they finally accept their situation and start focus on what they can not what they can't.
Hi @klemen
Grief empasses so many different losses, loss of health as you say is one of the most difficult to come to terms with and one I have experienced.
I have written about this subject and you'll find posts on the Grief and Loss forum but if there is anything else you'd like me write, please do message me.

It's a bit part of the reason the disability support community is here!
I know 50+ also has a guided discussion on grief which is very inclusive.
If there are specific things people would like to see, please share, We will also be asking the community here about things they would like to see in the growth paths - a thread should be in this subcommunity soon. Hopefully that will allow us to put out some growth paths that people here will find beneficial!
Oh, another point is that grieving is a process that is ongoing for many. So someone may feel fine about their situation one day and feel sadness, anger or other emotions about loss of things another, that is normal for all types of grief.

Hey, this is a good point. Maybe you could reach out to 7 Cups through their email and mention this to them for them to consider writing in future. :) Or you could suggest it as feedback in the appropriate forum. :)
