Gratitude- Noun - the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness. Example within a sentence - "she expressed her gratitude to the committee for their support".

In positive psychology research, gratitude is strongly and consistently associated with greater happiness.

Gratitude helps people feel more positive emotions, relish good experiences, improve their health, deal with adversity, and build strong relationships. People feel and express gratitude in multiple ways.

How do you express gratitude?

People who regularly practice gratitude by taking time to notice and reflect upon the things they're thankful for experience more positive emotions, feel more alive, sleep better, express more compassion and kindness, and even have stronger immune systems.

How can you regularly practice Gratitude?

A fun exercise I have found that helps me with recognising things that I am grateful for is working with this worksheet - I use the prompts and it reminds me of the positives that are super important! Here is a link to the image of the worksheet:- https://i.pinimg.com/originals/

I have also found this video extremely helpful and calming - The circle of gratitude- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jc64ap852FU

Stay Stong and Keep Fighting!

@JoyfulUnicorn

Heyy! That exercise is very helpful. Loved watching the video. Thank you so much for links.

Yes its very important to show our gratitude towards anything and everything. Even the food we eat, the bed on which we sleep, our patents, siblings, etc. Directly or indirectly we get help everyday without even asking for it. I am thankful for this post to remind me about all the support I receive all the time. 🙏
