Just because it doesn't look I'm disabled or suffering, it doesn't mean that I can do what everyone else can do.

It affects every part of me in more ways than they can imagine and far beyond what you can obviously see. Telling me to not let my disability define me really annoys me. Why don't you try not letting your upbringing define you? That's impossible. Even if it pushes you the other way, it's still involved in deciding who you are.

Also, How good or bad I feel about my disability changes daily, and that impacts a lot of things, such as whether I am able to take a joke or not. In other words, some days I might find a joke funny, other days it might make me angry. I'm sorry about these changes, believe me, if I could understand the reasoning behind them, and change them, I would.

I know this isn't one thing sorry.

@vivelespatates That its not just like a temporary issue & usually it cannot be tamed on your own, it is out of your self control. -It is like someone telling someone with depression to alter their brain chemicals so they will be "just fine or normal", but that is not how it works, as an example but also can be a fact.

As far as my blindness, I wish people knew that blind people can cross the street by themselves. At least most of us can. Those of us that have gone through training can. I guess I can't expect people to know who has and who hasn't gone through training. But if you see me on a street corner you can ask me if I need help. Please don't touch me and start pulling me across the street. if I need help I will ask.

It is different for everyone. My exprience cannot be assessed by the observance of someone else with the same issues. It is like comparing a palm tree to a weeping willow.

I want to get back to work. I am in pain. You may not see it, but I feel it. You want to understand, I will share with you.

I wish people were more understaanding about how it changes, yes one day i can cook myself a full meal yet the next i may be unable to even get out of bed. I find it so hard to keep cancelling social plans last minute as i dislocated something while getting dressed, that's frustrating. @vivelespatates

That it doesn't just go away when I focus hard enough, it's not something you can simply control or deal with. You have to learn to live with it but that doesn't mean it gets any easier.

That I'm a regular human being with feelings. When you call me a freak, or whisper behind my back, I feel it.
