What makes you unique?
What are the biggest differences, positive and negative, you notice between yourself and others outside of your disability?
When we are limited of a way, we always compensate, what are your strengths? What are things you are doing better than others?
i am unique for my red hair :)
I'm unique for my three-different-colored eyes!
I have no stage fright. Like at all. Whether it's three or three thousand no worries man. Impromptu or prepared. I'm good. I was raised in a religion that gave me extensive practice in public speaking. For us raised in it, you either got very good or you dreaded it. I got good. I am well spoken, clear and with good diction and enunciation when speaking in public. Now, I didn't follow that faith but I kept the skills I learned. I'm good at picking up new needlework techniques. I learned the basics of knitting in half an hour and crochet in about an hour. I can sew fairly well, although I'm not quite as good as my grandma who could measure you, draw lines on fabric and make a dress with no paper pattern. She was legendary. I am loyal and trustworthy. That's an asset in this day and age of dishonesty and gossip.
I aam becoming a bad housekeeper in cleaning, I'm not the best but this past winter I've slipped very far. Some of it is I started working for the first time in fifteen years but I don't understand why I have slid. I'm trying, not well, to change that. I have to I'm just so overwhelmed and stuck. I have no motivation to work out and little self control around food and haven't lost the weight I packed on about ten years ago due to a stressful situation I was in and decided that eating my feelings was the best way to handle it. Yeah no it was not and I got fat and I got out of the situation but stayed fat.
hey guys, i am a listener and member (both pluckykitten587), and as a disabled person i feel that my hope and vision is unique.
I am unique, because I am friendly, I can talk to anyone when I am out , at home I feel stuck and depressed.
I think my ambidextrous-ness (ability to write with both hands) makes me unique
