A little hobby that makes me smile as a disabled person
I've been using a cane to walk for over a year, and I love to get stickers from bands, my friends, stores I like, and put them on my cane. Like bumper stickers on a car! it's a little hobby to show myself all the nice places I've been and people I've met while pushing myself really hard to get out of the house. It motivates me and shows I'm more than my disability and I don't want it to define me. Thought this might resonate here, I'm new and hoping to find some community with people who have some of the same struggles. Thanks for reading!
