Embracing who we are

Disability does not define us, it is just a part of who we are. We should not let it hold us back or make us feel less capable. Instead, we should embrace our abilities and use them to overcome any disadvantages we may face. Our disabilities may present challenges, but they also give us unique strengths and perspectives. Let's focus on our strengths and use them to achieve our goals and dreams. Remember, our abilities are what make us who we are, not our disabilities. Let's embrace ourselves and all that we have to offer.

Yusss, so much difference when we re-arrange our thoughts and perception plus to be more accepting, embracing and kind towards ourselves and others without defining, or limiting or confining to the unrealistic judgements. Thank you for this kind message.💛

@Sunisshiningandsoareyou  yes perception is a good angle to investigate. If we change how we look at life then we can also sometimes change how we feel about life!

It's like the glass half full or half empty? If it is half empty then maybe switch to a smaller glass and then it will be full?

Indeed, Mistybeaan!

I like that but my usual approach to the glass theory is that, the glass no matter how big or small, it is refillable, so why fuss if it's half empty or half full. Keep refilling hehe!🥰

@Sunisshiningandsoareyou  oooh but think about this, what if you can't get up and go to the tap to refill, or what if you don't have enough money to pay for more, or what if you can't see where the tap is to fill up your glass? All metaphors, but there are so many ways and means that are limiting. Then it is the time we need a teapot like 7 Cups?

@MistyMagic

Oh wow now this is an entire buffet for thought xD and for real hehe, put me in deep-thinking mode. :0

Yesss, lots of metaphors and limiting ways of defining things better for our understanding, so I feel the one way that helps you feel most positively about it, should be made to work.🤧

A teapot like cups is awesome!🥰
