First time in my entire life I feel less alone
I wanna cry. I was walking through a mall and I saw someone with one crutch walking woth a little bit of a limp. He had no visible injury, no cast or anything I could see. I just can’t shake the feeling that he has a physical disability kinda similiar to mine *** and he also noticed me and he gave me a smile that I normally give to ppl to get them to stop staring at me. I just can’t shake the feeling that he is disabled like me. Just in that interaction I only got the vibe that hes just like me. I feel like I’m not alone anymore

@Panda2026 it’s completely understandable to feel a deep connection in moments like that. seeing someone who may share similar experiences can be incredibly validating and comforting, reminding us that we’re not alone in our struggles. that smile you exchanged speaks VOLUMES about the unspoken bond that often exists between those who face similar challenges. it’s beautiful to know that these brief encounters can bring a sense of belonging and understanding. it’s okay to feel emotional about these moments. they can be powerful reminders of our shared humanity ❤️
