@mytwistedsoul Thanks for sharing your stuggle with your learning disability.

Your not a lone,my friend.

A lot of us who have problems in math, have other struggles as well.

That does not mean, we are not good in other areas of learning, because we can learn and do will in other areas,it might take us, a bit longer to learn. But we can learn.

@TreaureSeekers3 I am so glad you liked the information, that I shared.

I would recommend that you get tested for learning disabilities.

That is the only way for sure,to know if you have a math disability, or if you have more then just one learning difficulty.

Because a learning disability covers a wide range of problems.

@Happy900 thanks but why ask to get tested? You think I have. That's a knock of confidence :( I thought about that but I don't know. I was diagnosed with disability at school but said was mild learning disabilities so don't know if that exists. It was ages ago. Don't know. The counselling for CBT I had said when discussing issues that thought how I see and experience works and not feeling wanted and why people way they are said to get checked for autism and put me on list but since then I haven't heard nothing. It was last year. Don't know if should chase that up. I'm waiting on other support too like work counselling

@TreaureSeekers3 You miss read what I said.

The reason to be tested is to know for sure,if you have a learning disability or not.

Sorry if you miss read what I wrote.

It is not a blow to your confidence.

It is so you get the right help. Hugs.heart

Hey, thanks for this post. Ive been struggling with maths and numbers my whole life (both in school and in real life) and just recently discovered what dyscalculia is, and I believe I might have it :c.

I was raised in a draconian household and school where academic achievement is viewed as a moral virtue, so the fact that I simply, really cant handle maths is almost always punished. When in truth, what I truly need is guidance and support..

Thank you for spreading awareness! I feel so validated.
