I have been dealing with restrictive eating for over a decade and it’s really hard to see myself ever getting better. I just can’t bring myself to get help even though it’s not sustainable.

@Cherry4

Im sorry to hear that you have struggled for so long with restrictive Eating.  It must be really difficult to feel like you will never get better.  What types of things have you tried in the past when you are feeling discouraged?

@Cherry4

I'm really glad you are here and that you have posted.  It sounds like a very difficult place to be in when you feel like there is no hope for change in the future.

When we struggle for so long and it feels like there is no progress it's understandable that it isn't going to get better.  If you look back over the years, were there any skills or things you learned about yourself that has helped you at all to understand you and your eating disorder better?

One thing I've learned that even with struggling and setbacks, nothing can take away the knowledge that I have learned.  When I'm able, I can use that again for my benefit.

I hope you will stay around with us and keep sharing.
