Mom’s romantic life is ruining our parent-child relationship

The title is so dramatic but I didn’t know how else to describe it. I will talk briefly about divorce, death, and related topics here, but no details. My mom’s currently on her 4th husband. Yep, you read that correctly. She’s been married to him less than a year and even though I like the guy, her new love is making me incredibly upset on the daily. Well, not him specifically, but. A little background: My bio dad died when I was young, but my parents were divorced before that. I didn’t know my dad much as a result besides the fact that he was sick. However, my mom also remarried AND had another child (my half sibling) before my dad even passed away, despite her claims that she always loved him and still does. She refuses to explain to me what happened, so my early childhood is simply a garbled mess of recollections I can’t piece together. The icing on the cake though, is that my first stepdad left too. Him and my mom got divorced and now I have no contact with him except through my half sibling. My mom, however, decided that she needed a new husband ASAP and started dating almost immediately. Once again, the marriage resulted in a divorce and I was displaced yet again, right as I had started to settle in and accept my “new normal” She says “this time’s different” but she said that about the last two times as well. I can’t trust that, and I can’t help but see her new husband as temporary even if it’s not fair to him. I feel like we’re constantly arguing despite the fact that I don’t want to and try my best not to provoke anything. Even when I’m the one in the right, my mom tells me it’s easier to just agree with him and move on. I know I’m an adult now (teen adult living at home for college) but I thought I’d still at least have my mom for a little longer. Now all she seems to care about is him, they even still have “date nights” once or twice a week where I get left at home to care for my siblings! I’m tired of feeling like my mom’s being taken away from me, too but I don’t know how to even fix this situation. I’ve tried having lunch with her for some alone time, but she always manages to turn it into an argument. Mostly I’d just really like to feel some form of compassion for my situation, as none of my friends know what’s going on (mom gets mad if I talk about her negatively or disapprove of her multiple marriages; says it makes her look bad) and I haven’t started back therapy quite yet. My mom wants to start family therapy but honestly I’m questioning if I even want a relationship with her at all anymore- It’d hurt me to cut the strings as I’d have no parents to rely on but I’m starting to feel less and less like this relationship is worth it. I just needed to get that out there, please let me know if this was too many details, etc for the forums

Few hours ago, I found out that my mom is having an affair... I don't know how to deal with this... My mom is really good with me, like a friend, we have our fair share of extreme arguments but we know will always end we being normal again. Finding this out was a shock, I don't know whom to tell, what to do? Should I confront her? Should I tell dad? Should I tell my girlfriend? Should I and shut up and let it happen? For context my mom and dad are not on great terms, they are just togather for the sake of me and my sister. But still, marriage is sacred enough to not do that, right? There is no possible explanation for this!!

No it's not too muchdetails، it's good that you mentioned what s going on in your life and your feelins. Read my words carefully and don't forget them: Your mother is your soul never leave here or you will feel empty your entire life. Always be with your mother and support her in everything that makes her happy, her happens will become your happens. Eventually you will have your own life with kids to care about, just do it better with your kids and learn from your mother. Life is short and everyone is looking for happens to survive, so keep your mother happy and look for your own happens & plans.
