Cancer

Mom has cancer. She is just 54 years old, diagnosed last summer. Everything I read online says it has poor prognosis. I live with her so I can see how much the disease and chemo has taken a toll on her. She plans to fight it. I feel so sad for her that she is so young. I don’t know if it would’ve been any easier to swallow if she was older. I get random waves of sadness when I try to unwind at the end of the day. My body is almost trying to anticipate the grief. My mom is a beautiful person and the disease has sucked the energy out of her.

🥺

I'm sorry your mother is sick.

And it's so hard for you to see her suffering.

I will pray for her treatment.

And sending you my best wishes 💚

I know how difficult it is to see someone you love so much in pain, and to not be able to do anything.

But all you can do is be there 💚

I can't imagine your pain. My mum is a cancer survivor. What helped me go through that phase was the fact that I knew surgery would fix it. She is mentally strong so she went through it fine.

Yes, it would be easier if it was a later age. I felt sad reading 54 years. I seriously hope and pray she feels better sooner. I hope doctor gave turmeric tablets. If you can give them make turmeric milk.

Hello,

I am sorry to hear that your mother has cancer.  11 years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer.  The cancer was removed, I went through chemo treatment followed by radiation.  As of my last mammogram six months ago I am pleased to say that I am still in remission.

Your mom wants to fight the cancer.  I know how difficult it can be to watch our loved ones go through cancer treatments.  The best you can do for your mom, is to be supportive.  I hope and pray for your mom to have a successful recovery.
