Hiya I haven't been in here in a while but my therapist suggested that I reach out as I've been really struggling with balancing my personal and home/care life balance to be honest I've probably been a young adult carer for near enough 15 years first for my dad then my brother then grandad now both my brothers and my mum and im just really struggling finding people that can relate to me and understand the way I'm feeling... it's like an unintentional under appreciation and like I'm letting everyone down for feeling that way... I hope someone knows what I mean 😕

I hear you. It sounds like you've been carrying a heavy load for quite some time, taking care of your loved ones while trying to manage your own life. Feeling like you're not fully understood or appreciated can be incredibly isolating. It's okay to feel overwhelmed and to seek support. You're not letting anyone down by acknowledging your feelings; in fact, it takes a lot of courage to reach out for help. You're not alone, and there are people who understand and empathize with what you're going through.

@tpwk1626       i think everyone who dosent have an inflated ego tells themselves that they are not enough. I promise you though, you are enough. that's a very hard job to take up. your family no less. I don't know your situation but I do know that you are appreciated in some way by someone out there. show some self appreciation. this is a milestone not many people would do for their family. taking care of just about every member? that's a hard thing to do. I'm very proud of you. keep going, keep moving forward. you have got this.

That's. A. Lot. Of. Caring.

You're incredible, and it may not be something they remember to articulate often but I'm sure they appreciate how incredible you are. Care for you too, even if it's just by noticing that you have a lot on your plate and it's ok to feel anything and everything you feel without judging yourself. You've got a lot on your plate. I hope that you continue to utilize 7cups when you need a pick me up, time to lay it all down, or anything else laying around lol

You're not alone, you're doing great, and I hope the best for you.
