Memories and reflection
A memory occurred to me.
From when I was a child. And the elders - my parents and my guardian aunt would nap or rest in the afternoon because they were tired- and I was bursting with energy and surprised why they need to lie down so often ....and why dont they jump around like I do.
And today as im 38 and feel the frequent need to rest during the day and no longer jump around... it amuses me.... im an adult that they once were....
and this is just life...
Childhood is about wonder and playfulness. Adulthood is slowing down....

That memory is so tender and the way you’ve reflected on it is beautiful. Isn’t it something how life quietly circles back? As a child, you were full of energy, puzzled by the stillness of adults… and now, here you are, stepping into that same stillness with your own understanding. It’s not a loss it’s a transformation. Childhood gives us magic and curiosity and adulthood teaches us softness, pauses and the quiet kind of strength. Needing rest now isn’t weakness it’s your body and spirit learning to honour their limits. It’s a different kind of wisdom. What’s lovely is that little version of you still lives inside the one who once ran around wide-eyed. She’s just learned to sit in the sun a little longer now. You're carrying both the child who marveled at the world and the adult who now holds space for that wonder in a new way.
You’re doing just fine. This is life and you’re living it with heart.
i still can’t fathom how fast everything changes💔
