Problems with my father
Okay so fist let me give a little background on my father's situation before i go into with my current problem.
i am 29 and my dad is 50.
So my father currently suffers from seeing things that are not there and as well as talking to things that are not there constantly to the point where he confuses those things with things has actually happened. he is aware of this as i have mentioned it to him when he was more lucid and in those moments he actually wants me to take him somewhere to be professionally assessed so he can get help which i want to happen as well but those moments of lucidity are brief and very rare so if i bring it up any other time he will get verbally violent or will agree to only refuse last minute. this has been extremely stressful on me as i have tried to be there for him through this but recently his gotten to be too much for me, we get into more arguments lately and talk A LOT less.
So that is what I am having trouble dealing with. I am at my limit on what or how I should handle this as I can not just abandon him even if he does make me upset more often than not anymore.

If you've identified somewhere you can take your father to be professionally assessed, then I imagine they are probably familiar with this kind of problem and might be able to advise you. Alternatively, your own doctor will certainly know what courses of action are available to you.
The details will depend on the local laws where you are and to some extent on what mental health services are available there.

I’m so sorry you’re struggling with this. I am one who is on the opposite end of your struggles, I am suffering from a lot of things and lately my mind is failing. I have nobody in my life, friends or family. I have struggled with that reality because I don’t want my end times forced on a stranger to care for my every need, but yet if I did have someone in my life I wouldn’t want them to suffer like you are right now.
I think it’s a no win situation for all involved
I don’t have a magic answer and this doesn’t help, I just think that maybe in his lucid moments he’s looking out for your peace of mind and heart?
