My caregivers
I have got caregiver who helps me very much with everyday tasks. I use electric wheelchair and i need help with many tasks in order that i don't overexert self as my doctor told me that i need to rest and that i shouldn't overexert self.
My caregiver helps me with transferring from my nursing bed to my electric wheelchair, dressing (in order that i needn't to bend myself - it is much less strenous for me if my caregiver puts my socks, bra, blouse and skirt on), preparing meals, personal hygiene, cleaning, bringing groceries home, driving, etc. My caregivers are paid by government. I am very glad for them.
Also my parents and brother and his family help me during weekends but there i have almost no say on what they will do for me. But i am thankful for their help.
Hey @CheerySandi, it's super nice to know you've got helpful caregivers and some supportive family members. With some support and help from people around, things get a little easier, truly amazing how you're expressing your thankfulness for them. hi, thank you for your kind and supportive words. Yes, i am very thankful for my caregivers. My caregiver helped me cleaning flat and cook meals today.
