4 weeks and I still haven't replied
I met a friend through a volunteering experience a while ago. She finished her time here before me and said to me very directly that she would like to be friends.
A few months later, after thinking about the message I would send her every day for weeks, I finally reached out and said we should make a plan.
We had a short exchange after that, but her most recent message to me was sent four weeks ago, and I still haven't opened it or replied.
Every time I think about how I still need to reply to her I physically cringe I feel so ashamed. I think about how I need to reply multiple times a day but I still don't do it.
How to I get myself to finally message, and how to I continue the conversation gracefully?
@optimisticPerson4030 well the first thing you can do is open the message to start with, then tell her you had a mental block of some kind and apologize for not getting back to her
def open the message. you can do this.
i get bad mental blocks exactly like this. it’s so hard to push threw them alone. i’m here to help ya if you want.
if she seems interested in the message maybe you can set something up.
i understand if you don’t want to but i’d love to get a follow up to this after you read the message.
