Birthday
Today is my Birthday. I turned 25 with a lot of highs and lows in my life. I don’t know if I should be happy. Usually Birthdays remind me of how old am i getting and not achieving everything that i wanted to at this age.

Happy Birthday 🤍
I’m really glad you shared this, because what you’re feeling is a lot more common and a lot more human than people admit. Birthdays have this strange way of turning into a scoreboard, even when life was never meant to be measured like that. Turning 25 doesn’t mean you’re behind. It means you’ve lived. You’ve gone through highs, lows, confusion, growth, survival and all of that counts. More than any checklist ever could. Right now, it sounds like you’re carrying two things at once the weight of expectations (where you thought you’d be), and the reality of your journey (which hasn’t been easy). And honestly? Those don’t always match and that mismatch hurts. But here’s something worth holding onto: you’re not late you’re in progress. Life isn’t linear. People don’t hit milestones in order, and the ones who look like they have it all figured out… usually don’t. You’re building yourself through everything you’ve gone through, even if it doesn’t look like “success” yet. Also this matters you’re still here, still trying, still reflecting. That’s not failure. That’s resilience. If today doesn’t feel like a big celebration, that’s okay. It doesn’t have to. Maybe today can just be quieter: a moment to acknowledge how far you’ve come, a little kindness toward yourself, a small permission to not have everything figured out yet. You don’t need to have achieved everything by 25. You just need to keep going and for what it’s worth there is still so much time for things to fall into place in ways you can’t even see yet. So maybe instead of asking, “Am I where I should be? try asking, “What do I need right now to feel a little more okay?” You deserve that softness today. Happy Birthday again. Even if it feels complicated you still deserve a moment of peace in it.
