Friendship and morality

For me, only someone whose moral compass aligned with mine could have became my friend. But a friend told me that, he was friends with some guys who were sort of criminals. He said that, as long as he was good with them, they would be absolutely good with him...
The criteria for friendship is different for everyone but I think that we should not be too biased when judging someone. We should not make friends hastily nor leave them for petty reasons once made.

I think in life nothing is ever fully black or white and we can never judge without walking in someone else's shoes!

sometimes the friend that teach us the most about life and help us grow are different then us and not just an echo chamber of same thought or belief.
