In need of a friend
Hi everyone, I am 25F from England.
Due to moving across the country, to live with my fiancé (which has unfortunately backfired), I have lost all of my friends. Every one of them stopped talking to me despite my efforts.
I would be very grateful if I could make some friends. To just chat to, play games with, and I am more than happy to be a listening ear.
My interests are xbox, switch, DS and older nintendo consoles. I love pokemon, super mario, the sims and harvest moon/story of seasons games. At the moment on xbox I am playing Overwatch 2, COD and minecraft. I love animals and have a dog and a cat.

You've done a brave thing by reaching out and putting yourself out there. They do say the first step is the hardest so well done for speaking up.
It can totally be challenging making friends and keeping up with social interactions. Personally I can find it draining irl, to the extent it's almost like I'm there around people but very quiet :/ hard to snap out of it even when know I'm doing it.
I'm happy to chat and play games too. I like Pokémon go, switch and Fortnite :)

I think it's difficult for people who don't get the drained feeling to understand the effort needed to socialise. For me I find I have to psych myself up a bit to put myself in that situation in the first place which I know will leave me tired grumpy and wanting to hide away. Completely in conflict with the wanting to have those relationships with people in general. It's a tough one. I think it's more common and spoken about more than it used to be though which can only be a good thing. Still frustrating though 😂
