I'm sorry that you are feeling hurt while being here.

A little about me: very shy, highly introverted and I deal with social anxiety. 

I have been here for about 3 months, and I have been accepted by some maybe not all. That will happen any place folks like us go.

One member has become my friend, she has shown me that I matter and belong. 

I have learnt to stay out of posts and chat rooms that trigger me and upset me, it can be somewhat overwhelming in the beginning. Looking around trying to figure out where you fit in and will you be accepted.

There is a section titled "Pen Pals", if you would like we could start a thread there and just talk about anything that you would like?

Bright, I’m really sorry you’re feeling this way. It hurts so much when all you want is friendship and understanding, but instead you end up feeling hurt again.

Please don’t think that your desire for real friendship is wrong or too much. Wanting to be understood, valued, and treated kindly is completely normal. You deserve friends who make you feel safe, respected, and appreciated — not confused or wounded.

Sometimes people don’t understand us, not because there’s something wrong with us, but because they don’t know how to see us properly. That doesn’t mean your friendship isn’t real or meaningful.

I hope you don’t give up on finding people who truly get you. The right ones will feel different — calmer, kinder, easier. And until then, please remember that your heart is not wrong for wanting something genuine. 🤍

 I am sorry that you feel hurt… True friendship can be found in any almost place.. But if you allow me a little opinion.. I think each of us can and should be responsible for our own protection because most of the times inadvertently we give the power to other people to hurt us and that can't happen..

The feeling of being hurt happens when we react the things other people say so I think we have to pay attention to how we react in order to protect ourselves.. the only people who should have the power to hurt us are the people who love us, the people we love.. Other than that, no one should be allowed.

One of the things you should keep in mind is that, if you started a potential friendship with someone, the whole point of that situation is getting to know each other.. and if that person doesn't know you, That should mean that he doesn't have enough information to make valuable opinions about you.. My point is, Don't let anyone tell you things about yourself that you don't agree,  just disregard them..
Soon you'll become a strong person in charge of your life and fully protected against Ill intent

The power is in your decisions Don't let anyone decide for you

I believe that maybe a Member account and a Listener account should not be connected to the same ***; that’s why it happened. I haven't received any information regarding the deactivation of my account either. I have sent them an email to recover it for me. If I am lucky, it will get back to me in 7-10 days from now. I just came to tell you this because I don't want you to think that I have left you, Jo. I strongly believe I will get it back. I tried to create a Listener account, but I couldn't. I even tried from different phones. Maybe I don't know how to create it🤕. Wherever you are right now, I will miss you. Wish you so many wonderful days ahead. Maybe we will meet again too😊❤️🙏.

A little about me: Early 30s. No friends. Married for 7 years, together for 14 years. 7 kids total (I have 3 with my first marriage and he has 4) 

I have a small homestead that I absolutely enjoy. It's my favorite place. The first 2 years, I killed every plant. I don't know what I did but it was apparently deadly.

I found out last year that I'm known as "the cat lady" and I hate it so much. Everyone drops cats here. There are now 51... 51 cats... 51. cats...

I'd love to hear/read what you have going on in life.
