Looking for some new company.

Hi! I’m very new to this app and the communities within it. I stumbled across this community, and I thought I would give this a shot. I’ve been wanting to make some new friends for years now, but the fear of being abandoned once people got bored of me has kept me from doing that. Well, I decided it’s time for a change and it’s time to give this thing another chance. The loneliness is getting to be too much to bear, and I just don’t want to be alone with my thoughts anymore. Just to give some information about myself: I’m a female and I’m in my mid 20s. I love to draw. I love arts and crafts. I enjoy reading horror books and listening to all things creepy and spooky. Halloween of course is my favorite holiday aside from Christmas. I enjoy the smaller things in life, and I’m just looking for some friends that have similar values to mine. I’m a loyal friend. I am one of those friends that no matter how much time passes in between messages and conversations I’ll pick right back up from where it was left off as if the conversation never ended to begin with (and no I won’t make it awkward or interrogate 😂), everyone has a life outside of their phone and I understand that completely. I don’t take kindly to dishonesty. I am also one of those friends that cares about you enough to tell you when you’re wrong or in the wrong but won’t be a total butthead about it and I’ll help you if you want it to navigate that situation and see if there’s a way to resolve it. Going back to the honesty thing. I just want friends that are going to be truthful. I just don’t fancy people lying to my face and saying x,y, and z then acting another way. Just be honest about how you’re feeling and let’s move on and act like adults about it instead of acting like we’re back in middle school. FaceTime scares me so I do apologize in advance because I do have a tendency to stare at the phone until a normal call comes through 💀💀. I have no issue answering a normal call, but FaceTimes scare me 😂😂. Anyways I know that this was a bit long winded but I do appreciate anyone that takes the time to read this and decides to reach out because I hate admitting this online, but again I am desperate for some new friends and I just hope that this resonates with someone who is also in the same boat that I am in.
