It's a meal made of sour cabbage, rice and minced meat, extremely tasty. Some people eat it with potatoes but I don't think it's necessary 😊
Also, if I was really requesting a last meal, I would want home made soups, desserts, everything lol. Would have a feast so big I would eventually earn a pardon before managing to eat it. Then die from histamine overload because I was glutinous 😂

You first prep the ingredients separately but then end them all in one dish that goes to the oven for a little, hence the layered lasagna vibes
What does it taste like? I wanna try some hehe
@jesusredeemedme2425 it's sour and salty. If you want, here is the recipe how we do it, but there are quite a few variations out there:
Ingredients:
- Sour cabbage
- Rice (+onion)
- Minced meat
- sour cream
- salt
- black pepper
The good thing about this is that the amount of ingredients used completely depends on your preference. You can use a lot of cabbage and rice but a little meat, but you can also do a lot of filling and little cabbage. So no need to sweat the amount too hard. This meal is highly customisable 😊
Prep:
1. Make the rice. We make it by cutting a small onion, putting it on the bottom of the pot with some oil, let it get this glassy look, then dump the washer rice in with water and salt
2. Precook the meat - you take a pan, and just cook the minced meat on the stove top with some salt and black pepper (again, based on personal preference of how much black peppery you like your food)
3. Check the sour cabbage. If it is too sour, rinse it out.
4. Mix the minced meat and rice together in a bowl
5. Take a casserole dish thingy that goes into the oven (we use a glass one) and layer the ingredients to be cabbage-rice and meat mix - cabbage after they cooled down a little.
6. Spill the sour cream on it
7. Put it in the oven for around 30-45 mins, until the ingredients cook together a little (glass will take you a little longer since you can't put it in a preheated oven)
Aaaand done. It's a very simple and highly customisable food. You can customise everything from how much of each ingredient to how sour you want the cabbage. Some people also add sausage into the layering, others eat it with potatoes or bread. You really get to choose your own style with this one. Frieren beyond journeys end is soooooooooooo goooooood!!!! Definitely top 5 anime I have seen. (Or 20 if you count all the different fate shows as different anime lol)

@7Bear7 and from anime, I really enjoy anime movies. Especially "Your name" or "Whisper of the heart". I rarely like a love story, so if I do, it has to be a healthy and good one. And these two are absolutely precious and even watched them with my boyfriend who loved them a lot too 😊

@jesusredeemedme2425 I usually get french fries, but as a proud potato-europe member, I don't mind any of these, although we usually cut our potatoes to amorph cube like shapes. 😊
