@kji Hi, I get what you're getting at but I mean more is how can I learn more; effectively, efficiently? How can I learn to understand things quicker and retain more of what I'm learning?

@kji. Since I retired, I've pursued volunteer activities to make a contribution and try to mske connections. What I've found is that although the causes are fulfilling, the prople are enjoyable, and I know my work is appreciated, it's still difficult to make that leap to friendship. It feels like everyone is so busy, and they have family and friends and communities already. They don't need me in their lives.

Perseverance. I give up too easily and let my fear of failure stop me from trying and doing the things I really want/need to.

@koffeeella I've been there. Sometimes you just want an infinite break from reality. And this may sound cliche but it get's better. It took me a while to get out of the fog, but finding the right people irl and online helped me to understand the source of my issues and figure out how to remove said issues. I believe you can find that support and the strength within you to push past. I believe in you!
