Visual exercise: Describe your happy place!
Your happy place is a memory, situation, or activity that makes you feel happy. It can be anything, so to speak. It can be a memory of when you first met your best friend, it could be a memory of past activity or an event you did with someone you love or it could be a place in your mind you like to visit to de-stress. It doesn't even have to be a real place or a place you've ever been. It's your safe haven to go to when things get rough in your life and it's often used as a mindfulness exercise.
I have a few different scenarios I visit, and most of them are nature oriented. One example of is a memory of my times growing up at my grandma's house, being in the pool and eating pizza. Just the hum of conversation in the background, the chirp of birds, and the warmth of sun on cool skin. My happy place is lazy, timeless and familiar.

Hello, H! I would say that my happy place would be a secluded area in the middle of a forest, with a nice gentle breeze running through the terrain and the sun peaking through the canopy of trees. You can smell the fresh scent of delicate flowers, and the tranquil silence, except for the occasional chirp of birds and the buzz of insects, fills the void of the natural essence. 😊 ❤️

My happy place would be a medium sized house in the countryside with a large backyard. I would live there with my family and a pet horse.

A happy place for me is wherever I'm surrounded with my love ones. Their talks and laughs and noises is what keeps me grounded and relaxed knowing I'm with them and they're with me.
