AI. Specifically, AI drawings. Or at least, AI drawings that haven't been perfected and cause nightmares!!!!

I told AI today to make a drawing, then to make the birds bigger... It decided to make "Birds Biger" (typo included) a logo. The G wasn't even a real looking G... O.O

Hunter-forager life was no paradise, but a great many evils never existed* until prehistoric people figured out farming, settled down in the Fertile Crescent & started living in towns. Once the first cities like Ur & Lagash started growing, our fate was sealed & humanity was screwed. Every generation has paid a price for those early farmers' mistakes.
*That is especially true of work. The most reliable estimates of paleolithic hunter-forager life put their work--finding & acquiring food & other resources--at two to five hours a day, on average. The rest of their time was free. Only with the coming of agriculture & urban life did people bust their butts from dawn to dusk.
@jesusredeemedme2425 First things that came to mind were smartphones (maybe cell phones in general) and non-anonymous social media sites.
Smartphones because: No one used to have an expectation of you being accessible to them 24/7. They’d call your house, and you might not get back to them for a couple hours or even the next day if you were out. Same with email. And that was ok. No one was like where were you, why didn’t you call me back yet, i can see your location so I’m going to decide how important it was to ignore me or when you should have responded by. Plus, we have quick access to apps like social media and games that are designed to keep us hooked and miss out on things in real life around us. I kinda like texting though when I don’t feel like being trapped on a phone call, so. But I was ok with tapping a key three times for “C”, haha.
Non-anonymous social media because: people get too caught up with comparisons, impressing, or getting attention. People overshare about things that used to be private, like every detail about their kids, spouse, or conflicts with friends and relatives. I like 7cups for the anonymity and sharing emotional things, although I think sometimes it too can become addicting.

Card readers automatically asking you if you want cash back. I know that I can just hit "no" but I want there to be a "never" button. I'd press it, and it would ask "are you sure?", and I'd hit "yes". And then it would say, "are you absolutely certainly, because you'll never be able to get cash back again?" And again, I would hit "yes", and feel the weight come off my shoulders as I never have to answer it again.

Yeah, it's a pay machine thing where you can basically withdraw from your own account without using an ATM, but it comes out of a store's change, and the store is automatically paid back. Ive worked retail before, and it's super annoying to have to call a manager over for more bills in the change drawer because someone wants to do that. I mean, I guess people should be able to request it, but I don't support it being automatically asked on every transaction. It just invites annoyance. 😂

Luckily no one really uses cash anymore, so people rarely ask for it. Also checks are dying out too. lol

Right? Lol, I had to work in retail for a bit some years ago... We still technically accepted traveler's checks in 2019. 😂 That was Sears... Pretty much a dead company now.

Mobile gambling games leave it at the casino. Why do you need the casino on the go? It’s bad enough on the computer. Now you have it in your pocket. What’s worse it’s pushed so hard on us now. Absolutely terrible what it does to people.

Emojis, "Social" media, Zoom (Love/hate relationship), navigation apps that can't pronounce street names correctly (BTW, why would you choose a different accent- that makes it 10x worse!), toll roads, automated answering systems, computer chips controlling cars- during the pandemic, when to company manufacturing them went out of business in Indonesia, it jacked up the prices of cars and made trying to buy one a nightmare!
