One of the most maddening regularities in my life is losing track of stuff. If it's not my glasses, it's my phone, or it's that piece of jewelry that's been missing since 2021 that I dream about 😤

What's an item you've lost that you never found?
can not think of anything as most the time we find what we lost sometime it another within that moved it and all we have do is ask everyone inside if they moved it.

our glasses seem to get missed placed a lot and the key to our lock box safe. we go months with not even thinking of the key then need something out of the safe box and well then it like were the key. this kinda funny but in our inside world we seem to misplace the keys to different things within mostly different doors can take us long time to find them. sometimes that not a good thing. Boo was in a locked safe room we then lost the key. he was only to be in their for like 3 hours and max. he end up in their for like 14 hours. he was very unhappy about that. so now for the safe rooms Randy put a lock that has just a code to unlock from outside. lot better for all us. so guess we say worst things we lose over and over is keys to different things and places.

Why does your inside world have keys?

we have some places in our inside world that are like safe places some are for all but others are for either one alter or more. example one of our pre teens has a garden it belongs to her she has a gate key she only one that has one other then the keys holder he holds a copy of all the keys within the the inside world so if one loses a key and can not find it within like a day or two he make them a new key sometimes even changes locks
there also places that only adults in system can go they also have keys this to keep the little ones from going were there be adult stuff they should not have or see we have a teen room that only teens allowed in snd the adults that watch over them
we also have like chill rooms were if someone out of control they can be placed there until they able to calm down we try other things first before the chill rooms are used
there also other locked areas within too we know that not everyone has a like see able inside world but we do we in past have like draw areas of the big inside world we did a map for online therapist too but with the apartment fire in 2014 we lost the drawings and many many journals lots of our other art work too
our system very big due to all the years of abuse and other stuff we found to keep order there has to be correction when boundaries and/or rules broken this done to keep order within
but also some of the ones inside just need their own special places within we try to allow that too as we know what it like to not have any personal place to not even own your own body so them places many of them have special keys to them
now if some had their ways they all be turned into code locks but many not want that due to they love their one of a kind special key they helped design

@Heather225 Around here saying you'll stick something in a safe place is a sure fire guarantee you'll never find it again. I'm almost positive there's a room of requirement in this house. I just need to say the magic words.
What have I lost and never found? 6 tubes of caulk. It's been 4 years but I swear they're around here somewhere.
What is always getting lost? Pens and pencils. I could buy 20 of them and by next week I would be lucky if I can find a single pen. And that one probably wouldn't work 😂

Almost every time I work on my car in the garage, I could put a tool down to read the next steps in the manual and turn around to spend the next hour or two looking for that tool. This happens more often than not.
