I think art is incredible. It teaches an eye for detail and provides beauty to the world, can be educational, and can even teach math. It teaches patience and empathy. It's therapeutic to the artist as well! <3 It's SUPER important <3

Hm, it's important because well, things would be super boring and look unappealing without it.
As to how to define it... I literally took a college course for one of my electives about that question. 😅 And what did I learn? That people have a lot of opinions on that question.
As for me? Eh, I feel like there usually has to be a level of sincerity or feeling put into it. But not as a rule. I question whether people riffing off of AI art could really count.

A world without art would be bereft of fiction, or music, or most visually appealing things. We'd be without a lot of our architecture and everyday items too. It would probably be a lot like the world is for most creatures I guess, but it's not really fitting for humans.
I dunno, there's a lot of full on philosophies about art. I never cared to remember most of it. I think it's ultimately something we have to decide for ourselves. I know that personally, I do paint, poetry, create some tunes (need to do this one more), and write fiction. This goes into the next thing I said about having a degree of sincerity, because with most of that, I'm pulling interesting things out of raw emotion. The hardest one for me is writing fiction, because I have to be more deliberate about how I do it, otherwise it's just incoherent. My poetry can skate by on being free-form and cryptic. As for my painting, it's mostly abstract. Stories generally have to make more concrete sense though. Oh, and I do comics... Those maybe fall a bit in the middle of the spectrum. They're usually things I'm kind of laughing out of nowhere about and then have to draw them out.
Art that doesn't really have sincerity... My first thought is a lot of pop/club type music, that's just a recycled beat, kinda meant to be in the background. I'm not saying all music in that genre is like that, but some really doesn't seem to have its own identity. I feel like it is hard to define though. Also, I keep in mind that people totally have the right to disagree with me.
As for AI art, or maybe machine generated crafts, I hear people say that people barely change it and try to pass it off as their own. AI drawn art tends to be a little problematic, and I can see why people would want to alter it to make something really good out of something that's almost good. I think it's just open for a lot of debate.

Lol, the funny thing is that I've been thinking about making music in a bigger capacity. I think it's almost time, I just need to have the right time to try some things.

Hopefully you're right. 😁 It helps that my mind automatically produces music if I don't have any real songs stuck in my head. I used to get in trouble a lot for "making noises" in school because I would be trying to emulate that music slightly with my voice.

@jesusredeemedme2425 I think all forms of art is important, it's a way to let out emotions, and express yourself in a creative way, rather than a destructive way ❤ and when you finish it, weather it be a painting, or a poem etc, it gives you a sense of pride, that you don't get with other things ❤❤ gives kiara a giant tiny hug ❤❤

Easiest way to put it is art is expression, art is meant to create questions
Art is important to others who feel the art is as people say "art is to disturb the comfortable and comfort the disturbed"
