If someday your doppelganger appears, how would you prove that you are the real one?

I'd first hide them away and wouldn't reveal to anyone that I have a doppelganger. Then I'd strike a deal with the doppelganger so I can be in two places at once.
Then my overachieving perfectionist self will finally be happy 😂💗
By whacking out my doppelgänger with whatever weapon I can get ahold of most easily.

I mean, it depends on the doppelganger. If we can work it out, maybe we can just keep people fooled for our own benefit. 🤭
If anyone I know walks by and sees us both in the same place, I think the conversation would go like this.
Me: "Look, before you say anything, you know you've caught me doing weirder things.
Them: "... .... ... Y'know, I want to argue with that, but I've got nothing."

I am a one of a kind. No doppelgänger or alternate universe version of me or anything like that. There is no other me and never will be. I’m perfectly happy with that bc with there just being only one me makes me even more special and unique.

Lol no. How can a doppelgänger speak for me when I don’t have one? If people wanna believe they have doppelgängers that’s their right to believe that if they want to. But I don’t have one. Plain and simple as that :)

Would they have all the same memories, and/or reason(s) to pretend to be me? Or are they just someone who visually appears to be me?
If they have the same memories, morals, and personality(s), I think we would welcome each other as a long lost twin, and question who is the real one ourselves, and figure in the end we are both deserving of love and acceptance. We would get the urge to kill our double though....
If it's simply a look alike, even if they're trying to pretend to be me, I'd simply share memories I have that prove I'm the real me
(As someone with DID, I have questioned which part is the "real me" but have come to the conclusion that we're all parts of the same whole person)
